Your lordship,

Looks like your request has incited a lot of response, much of which has
been unqualified in its use of units.

My offering (posted on the upload handle) shows the original Imperial units,
as well as a US conversion (at 1 imp. gall = 1.201 US gall).

The period starts from new, and therefore includes running-in (the first
five bars of the symphony). The high values represent full compliance with
UK speed limits (which are all 70 mph or lower), on runs of about 100-150
miles. The mean values are a non-urban cross-section with a heavy throttle
hand, and an enjoyment of speed. The nadir points represent temporary
insanity brought about by attempts to postpone the male menopause with
overdoses of adrenaline.

Average to date is 46.2 (Imp), 55.5 (US).

Twist the wrist and enjoy yourself!
