So what is the difference when you shut your bike off from a ride, and then
a day later you go back and check the oil level. It was warm when you got
off of it and it drained down to the oil pan. The oil level isnt going to
change from an hour later to a day later. If anything your oil level will go
up the longer you wait for it to drain.

I think it is wise to drain your oil when warm but it shouldnt make a
difference when checking it.
