I never knew that. It hasn't been a problem for me. But then my

Maybe *that's* why the secondary siren was suggested. Seems loud
enough to me.

I got mine fitted just over a year ago and it was cheaper, even
with the extra siren, luggage loop and trick keyfob, than either the
equivalent Spyball or Datatool.
