TSRA Rallye 2000

Wow - what an awesome event. For those that did all the suggested routes,
you got to experience over 500 miles of some of the best roads for
motorcycling in the U.S. in just two days!

While last year's event was only attended by 15 people, we could tell that
it was going to grow. This year, for Rallye 2000, over 50 of you decided to
make the trek to Western North Carolina from all over the U.S. I couldn't
make a stop without someone from the area saying "I have never seen so many
Triumphs in one spot before...." - it was quite the sight to see at the end
of the day with all the bikes lined up.

I would like to thank just a few of the people that made it happen.

- - Lisa White and Jack Hays for all their work in putting the organization
together and getting the whole thing off the ground.

- - Troy Blood and Robert Head for their help in planning the routes.

- - David Cohen for the Rallye Logo and Dennis Tackett for the Rallye Shirts.

- - Triumph Motorcycles of America for their support and Jerry, Chris, Candy,
Peggy and Don for attending.

But most of all....

I would like to thank each one of you that decided to "get off the porch
and ride".

To all my new friends I say, "If you thought Rallye 2000 was great, just
wait until you see Rallye 2001 !!!"
