Re: Fuel Senders and the open plea to Triumph

Being very ignorant for a second. Eric, are you saying that Triumph will
replace any two dot senders regardless of whether a leak has sprung yet or
not, I haven't had any problems with my two senders except the usual
inaccuracy thing? I'm due for a 12k service at the main dealer soon and if
you able to
clarify my understanding, I would be grateful.

The new fuel senders can be identified by the two dots (1 red and 1 green)
on the bottom (on the metal piece, where the wires come out). If you are
having problems with the leak, you need to contact your dealer and arrange
for this new part to be fitted under warranty.

THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!! Be sure to check for the two dots - some
dealers ordered extra units - if you get one of the older revisions you may
have future problems. If they have ordered one in the last two weeks, they
will have the newly revised part.
