I've been quoted =A3110 GB for the handlegrips and =A370 approx to fit =
them (2
hours @ =A335). Would heated gloves not be a cheaper and simpler =
option?

Ummm, Keith.  It is supposed to work that way.  There are two settings:
warm and hotter.  Missing is "hottest" (for those really cold mornings
I've heard happen in places other than Florida) and something between
the two current settings.

Anyway, forward is high, and backward is low if your switch is wired
properly.
