Burt,

If you buy a DID chain, for a given size you will be able to buy a range of
qualities at various prices. Like most things you get what you pay for. If
you buy a cheap chain, that is what you will get. Try to buy a good quality
chain the same quality as the OE chain (or better). If you buy exactly the
same spec chain it should be cheaper buying aftermarket than the OE part
from Triumph.
