 Forgot to mention that John Fitzwater at Thunderbike will be making
an adaptor kit for mounting the GIVI hard bags on the Bonneville
(like he did for the ST and RS) since this was one of your
requirements (mine too).  The 28-litre bags should work out fine.

 I hope RS prices are doing better where you are than down here in
Calif. where the dealers are putting the left over 2000 RS's out the
door for $7,200-7,500.  My dealer has 3 left out of 32!

 Have you looked at the Aprillia 650 (Pegaso?)?  That's what the BMW
F650 is based on!
