NYC Motorcycle show

When I got out of work today at 2pm I shot over to the Javits Center.
Unfortunately, I shot over there in my car. There is way too much of the
white stuff and the nasty ice that comes with it on the roads. In a
perfect world there would only be snow on the ski slopes. Hmmmm. Is
there a ski rack for motorcycles? But I digress.

I got a chance to see the new 600TT up close and personal, but it is up
on a pedestal and nobody can sit on it. I like the shape of the fairing,
the two-tone fade is interesting but other than that it looks somewhat
bland.

The RS looks fantastic in orange. I would love to see one in natural
sunlight but that will have to wait. The orange one was sentenced to a
pedestal in the trailer.

All sorts of apparel for sale in the trailer. None of it is discounted
except for a single carbon fiber tank pad for the ST (it was cracked).

The most amusing sight at the show was over at the Ducati booth. Men
dressed up in gladiator costumes passing out literature. It makes one
wonder who their target audience is.

Walking around the show was an emotional roller coaster ride. So many
bikes I just wanted to go home and get my baby out of the garage. But
alas the evil white stuff deters me. Soon enough it will be riding and
baseball season.
