RE: D-207 expected mileage

This boils down to 7,500 miles approximately. Your buddy is big time right
in how well they stick. It has inspired me to scrape peg on occasion. I do
a lot of super slab riding so major center were as well. Well I will be
there after this one for a 205 shortly.

My buddy "Foamy" reported back on the D-207's that he has on
his 1200
Daytona. Something to consider too is the fact that we live
on the
prairies...flat, flat, flat and straight highways. Lots of
wear in the
centre of the tire and not so much on the edges.

Here's what he had to say:

I know that the 207's are a better tire for my type of
riding and give a
little more of an edge stability wise. If I lose a little
in overall
mileage, its a small price to pay. The other option is to
slide my ass down
the road and pay lots for repairs......not too much of a
decision in my
		eyes.
I think that the mileage should be 10,000-12,000
kms....depends on how many
120' days and the speed we ride at. I think that 12,000 kms
out of the
		207's should not be unreasonable.

		see yea
