Re: friction modifiers/AMSOIL sysntheitc oil

What meaningless letters on the container of oil indicate that there are
"friction fighting clutch killers"
I have 2 bottle of SJ, one has the letters CF one does not. Does this
mean anything.
ANSWER:
The various "C" classifications relate to use in diesel engines. The CF is
a current classification that was first introduced in 1994. This is
specified for off-road, indirect-injected and other diesel engines using
fuel with over .5% by weight sulfur content.
The friction fighting clutch killers will have the words "energy
conserving"...if you do not see those, you should be OK.
Charlie,,,By the way....Premium gas has been about $1.52 here (Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania) and regular at $1.31 a gallon. Heating oil prices broke $2.00
for a short time and have fallen to around $1.49/gallon! Ouch!
