I have a neat little tripod clamp that works great with the 850z since that
camera is a lot lighter than my SLR's. What got me worried though is
sticking the lense out in the air stream where it could get chipped or
splatted on. I'm going to work on making a protective cover for the lense,
and the try it again.

One spot that worked great was flipping up the cover for the gas cap
keyhole and clamping the little tripod to that. About half of the view is
of the cockpit, and the rest is above the screen. I'm sure once the roads
dry out and the skies clear up I'll have a lot of fun with this.

I also need to get my Triumph jacket back. Had to take it into the dealer
this weekend to get a busted zipper fixed. The pull tab on main zipper
snapped in two. Fortunately it's covered under warranty.
