new listee intro

All,

Been lurking for a while, and dropped the odd response here and there, so
thought I should intro myself. No one else is going to...

I'm a freelance writer and motorcycle journalist based in Vancouver, BC on
Canada's we(s)t coast. Think Seattle but just above the 49th.

Right now I ride a '96 Sprint as well as a bunch of old Brits (BSAs, Royal
Enfields and a Norton, but no Triumphs). My Sapphire Blue Y2K ST c/w
factory bags arrives in a month or so.

Some of you may have seen the piece I did on touring in the Rockies in Moto
Retro (www.motoretro.co.uk), which features a black '99ST. I also did a
comparo of the T3 and T5 Sprints for Canadian Biker
(www.canadianbiker.com). There are links to both articles from my website.

I also do some tour guiding in the summer with Rocky Mountain Motorcycle
Holidays. RMMH only uses Triumphs - the fleet includes STs, Tiger, Speed 3
etc - so it's a great way to ride a Triumph in the Canadian Rockies without
having to take your own bike. RMMH is at www.rockymtnmoto.com. Great roads,
spectacular scenery, little traffic, fewer cops.

Looking forward to stuffing foam in my mirror condoms...
