Answers required

Mornin all,

I suppose I'd better start by aplogising to the techy guys for non tech
content, but I won't :)

A few questions for the more learned members of the list all the same.

The Son and Heir has decided that this year he will grace the shores of the
USA with his presence.   April 15 th  for a months holiday !!

I may even be tempted to join him myself if I can get a pass-out from Herself.

He intends to fly into L A   airport.

He tells me that John king has graciously offered him lodgings in San Diego
which I gather he will take up for a week or so.

He would like to  see as much of one of our former colonies as he can during
his stay there and he would welcome any offers of accomodation from anyone
else on the list who would be prepared to assist.

He is housetrained and does not bite, relativley clean and drug free, well
hung and eats like a horse .

He hopes to visit LA , SF, Vegas, Desert Boneyard ( Arizona I believe ) and
as many other places as he can manage in the time alotted.

Questions.

1  How old do you have to be to rent or hire a  bike / car in the USA ?

2  If he went down into Mexico for a few days..are there any probs getting
back into the USA ?  same applies to Canada .

3 Are internal airfares as cheap as we hear about in the UK and are the
schedules plentiful and daily ?

4  Can you hire and drive a vehicle and bike on a valid UK passport ?

5 Is there anywhere in the USA that he can obtain any Stoke on Trent
oatcakes or does he have to bring his own ?
