As I mentioned a week or so ago, cleaning my front brakes made a *heck*
of a difference. When I got my bike one of the things which stood out
was how good the back brake was, so I think cleaning is a good place to
start. Unfortunately the back brake is a sod to get at. Dare I suggest
that the mechanic wasn't keen on doing it?

How are the brakes on later STs and RSs?

How *do* you adjust the brake pedal? I've had a brief look and
couldn't figure it out.
