Finally got RSted!

  Hallelujah! After nearly two years of breathless anticipation, I
finally took delivery of my new Lucifer Orange RS (Real Sprint) today.

       Man,.. I'm in love with that thing! Only had time to put on about
100 miles but that was enough to make a believer out of me!

       I had been duly impressed with the demo ride I had on the ST at
Laguna last year but the RS is even sweeter; the handling is magic!

       So far I have been unable to find anything to nit-pick about.
I'll have to put on higher, more rearward bars but that's because the
hump at the back of the tank is in conflict with an even bigger hump on
the front of the rider,... and they can't both occupy the same space.

       The two trip meters and the clock are a big plus but I'm not sure
the numbers are big enough to read without my glasses. Looks like they
were designed for kids in their 40s and 50s. Ditto for the clutch pull,
might become a little much for old arthritic fingers but clutch set-ups
with a mechanical advantage are available for us old fahrts.

       Am going to spend the weekend chasing my tail around the hill
country of So. Calif. and will let you know anything else I discover.

            Can't imagine a better way to start the new minnolleum;
