RS, my first impressions

I'm in love. Oh, maybe I should expand on that a little. Awesome!!!

I picked up my Eclipse Blue 2000 RS about 2.5 hours ago. I spent
my first 25 mile ride working the tranny, paying attention to the
3500 rpm limit, and familiarizing myself with the new ergonomics.

The machine does not want to stay down under that 3500 rpm
limit, though...but I was a good boy, and kept the wick low. I want
the break in to be done right. It is clear, however, that the blue is
very fast. :-)

And, oh, what a blue! It sparkles in the sunlight! It even looked
great inside on the showroom floor.

I did not find the transmission to be particularly stiff; finding neutral
is a little hard at this point, but otherwise it seems to be easy to
find all the gears. I did miss a couple of shifts, once between 4
and 5 and once between 5 and 6. I need to remember to be
assertive about the up shifts; this is different from my Nighthawk.

Handling, for the little bit of a ride I've taken so far, seems precise;
the bike seems to just fall into turns. I look forward to my first
workout on it this coming weekend - please, weather, hold...

I'll post more as I spend more time in the saddle. But, what a great
machine!
