Congrats on the new pipe, Dan! I really like mine a lot. You don't
*have* to get the new tune since the fuel injection system will
compensate a bit for the different flow characteristics. However, the
new tune does richen the mixture at the lower RPMs, giving more power
down low. (See the before and after dyno runs from my bike in the FAQ.)

It sounds like your dealer is expecting Triumph to release a new tune
for the race cans this Friday. There is already a separate tune for the
Y2K bikes with race cans, so the one your dealer expects Friday must be
an update. (I wonder what it tweaks...)
