You're doing everything right, in my books, Erik. I also use Motul 5100 -
"Very Good Oil" -  with about the same change intervals and usually throw in
a fresh filter, as well (although every two oil changes would suffice).
Frequent oil changes are about the best and cheapest insurance you could
have to protect your engine and promote longevity (for the motor, that is).

Well I guess I'm treating my baby OK!  But you want to tell me what
bad oil is ?? I'm using Motul 5100 15-50 wt and changing it every 2k.

And yes I know I don't have to change oil as often as I do.. It just
makes me sleep better.
