RE: Ride to work day

I am an AMA member, and there was no mention of this event in any of their
publications ( a gent on another list swears he looked for it diligently).
The website http://www.ridetowork.org names this as the 9th annual ( first
year I ever heard of it ).
I agree Friday would be the best day to do it.
 If you work at home, you can do a lap of the busiest street near you at
rush hour (you know you want to play car slalom) if you want to participate.
Maybe next year, a Friday will be the designated day, every capable person
with a motorcycle will be notified of the event in plenty of time, and every
single one of us will ride to work. I would really like to see that happen.
This event displayed the excellent planning and thorough organization so
prevalent in the motorcycling public relations forum.
