Re: ST ergonomics

Tom,

I too owned a Concours for 12 years and kept waiting and waiting and waiting
and waiting for them to produce a new machine. I finally gave up but am
glad that I waited for Triumph. It took very little time to get used to the
change from that huge fairing and windscreen (I was looking for something a
little more sporty anyway).

I'm 6'0", 158 lbs --- and although some swear by the Genmars for raising the
bars, this bike is perfect for me. The only time you're gonna touch the
fairing with you knees is perhaps in racing crouch on track days. I have
two panels of 3M's Invincashield (Eric was offering this to the group) at
the knee contact points, and the paint is perfectly protected.

This bike is everything the Councours dreamed it could be. I did not get
the hard luggage (even though I was spoiled by the Connie) because when
removed for sport riding, the hardware really detracts from the bike. A set
of Chase Harper soft luggage did the trick.

Don't even think about it------ GET THIS BIKE!!!
