And I do the opposite. In traffic I let the RPMs climb up into the peak
torque band, shifting between 6K and 6.5K. This gives me the most "GO" when
and if I need it to avoid blue hairs in caddies that pull out into my lane,
or SUV drivers with cell phones pressed to ear and a coffee cup in the other
hand that swerve into my path.
Besides, I *REALLY* like the sound! :-)
