Re: Adjusting Chain



What I do is put the bike on the center stand per the manual. Then 
rotate the tire until one finds or doesn't find the tightest spot. 
The manual shows where on the chain to measure the slack, it should 
be the middle of the chain, between the front and rear sprockets. 
Then what I do is use a tape measure put the little metal edge on the 
edge of the chain push down firmly and note the measurement, then 
push the chain up firmly and note the distance. Adjust to the factory 
recommendation.
