Speaking of chain maintenace, I'll issue a reminder that one should NEVER
clean a chain by having the engine idle along to move the wheel for you.
ALWAYS move the wheel by hand. I heard last night that a local racer and
mechanic lost three fingers recently by cleaning a chain in motion. The
sprocket caught the rag and before he could let go the sprocket caught
three fingers...
