    I am reading that belly pans melt.  I am looking at getting one for =
my RS and was wondering if I will find a molten blob of plastic on my =
garage floor after a hard ride. Any thoughts/experiences???

    It was only a problem on the 99's with thick insulation. Mine was =
replaced 4000 miles ago and I've ridden many miles at 100+ in temps of =
100+(F).
