Throttlemeister -- Why did I wait so long?

At the beginning of the week, just before my latest business trip (I've been
home 4 days out of the last 20 -- poor dogs, not dawgs, have been in the
kennel so long they've forgotten what it is like to be at home) I ordered a
Throttlemeister for my bike. Last Sunday I'd gone for a short 280 mile
jaunt with some buddies and decided that enough was enough, and I was going
to get one before the Rallye. When I returned late yesterday a small box
was sitting on my desk. :-)

As Eric Sheley has pointed out in the past, installation with heated grips
is ridiculously simple. They look great and it works very well too,
although I'm still trying to learn the contortion that will let me turn it
on easily.

The only way the Throttlemeister could be better is if it precisely matched
the OEM appearance and they only supplied the throttle side for 2/3 the
price. I guess we can't have everything.

If you've been sitting on the fence like I was, wondering if you should go
for it or not, DO IT! To make it even easier the company sends you the unit
on a 7-day evaluation. A week later they send you an invoice. Either pay
it or return the unit. (Are they crazy? Or just very trusting?) What
could be easier? So if you're still not sure after this, give them a call
and try it yourself for a week. Then send them a check (cheque) because I
know you're going to keep it.
