Uh.......... wrong!

The fact of the matter is, the silver requires the bike to traveling
at speeds that a red or blue bike are incapable of obtaining. The
resonant frequencies of the forks are being excited at these less then
stellar speeds thus creating high frequency vibrations resulting in
the crazing of the paint. One must get past these resonant frequencies
to prevent the crazing and the only way to do that is to go warp
speed, which is only obtainable with a silver bike. A silver bike will
blast through those frequency ranges too fast to have any impact. I
believe you will find that if you paint your forks red or blue then
the crazing will not reoccur.

The thought process of Triumph was to add a little silver in an
attempt to speed up an impossibly slow bike. An A+ for effort but they
didn't pay enough attention to their finite element analysis.
