RE: reliability of ST

I think there is no problem with reliability with the ST. I have
38.000km on the clock now and didn't had any special problems with it.

And ask Martin I do drive hard and fast.

Marc.

PS : Martin (Fay), one for You. Average speed from Heysham to Dover
153km/h without a ticket.

Subject: reliability of ST

Having boiled down all the possible options I am left looking at either a
SPRINT ST or VFR800 and am about to sign a large cheque for one or the
other. I have ridden both bikes and read tons of comments opinions etc., and
the ST is just winning so far. But are there real world SPRINT ST owners
out there who can make any comments regarding their experience of general
reliability / build quality and whether any bits have 'dropped off' or
worked their way loose etc etc? While the ST seems to win hearts and minds
- - and I can feel why when riding one - at the end of the day I am
self-employed and lose £50 for every hour I am late for my work so I do not
want anything that's unreliable, or even hints at the vaque possibility of
making me late due to electircal or mechanical gremlins. Any feedback will
be gratefully received. Thanks.
