     I somehow missed your post on this 'happy ending' first time around 
     but would like to say that I'm delighted this situation is finally 
     being fully and satisfactorily resolved for you.
     
     If nothing else you've made the list members aware of the potential 
     pitfalls of dealing with South Bay Triumph. They ignored and lied to 
     you and that is intollerable. Triumph need to be made aware of 
     dealerships like this in order to avoid getting a poor reputation for 
     quality, reliability and warranty as has happened in Ireland. (None of 
     the dealers I normally do business with would sell me a Triumph for 
     these very reasons).
     
     I would also be of the opinion that some form of good will gesture 
     from Triumph would be appropriate. (Set of bodywork in the factory 
     colour of your choice perhaps?)
     
     Well done for keeping your cool and hanging in there,

     BTW: Make sure they remove all of the debris from the silencer 
     otherwise the rattling will drive you mad. (Guzzis drop exhaust valves 
     too)
