I handle a lot of the systems work for Motad, who are the company that
develop and produce the end cans for Triumph.

Having spoke my contact, here's what I was told.

The only difference between the stainless steel and carbon fibre performance
end cans are the finish.  The carbon fibre is stainless steel, except that
is has a carbon fibre wrap instead of a stainless steel one.

The power output  etc. is the same.
