Re: blipping the throttle on downshifting

Hi gang,

It just occurred to me that I had the same exact problem on my 95 Trophy
4.  ( I do not have the problem on the ST).  The absolute, 100% cure to
the problem is to use 89 Octane fuel, where I had been using the high
octane crap.  The Trophy never had a problem with blipping the throttle
until I took it to the track one day and decided to use the premium 93
octane superduper fuel.  Big mistake.  I figured carb prob's and
everything else under the sun.  When I filled it with the midgrade 89
octane fuel after the track day, the problem disapperared completely.
Whew... that was a relief.  

So I am curious if the guy with the complaint is using high octane fuel?
