Re: Racing



NASCAR is definitely the champion of marketing their product.  Included in
that is the emphasis that they have placed on making the drivers part of
that product.  NASCAR fans are passionate about their drivers.  The same
can be said for very few bike racing fans.  I would bet that most bike
fans can name more NASCAR drivers than they can bike racers.  When was the
last time you saw a NASCAR driver refuse an interview (as did Scott
Russell and the Duc rider)? 

Have you been to a bike race in person?  TV is fun, but seeing these guys 
leaned over at 150mph is something to behold.
