Even though I'm new to the list I am making my plans to attend the Rallye.
I have a '00 Sprint ST I ordered in November, not the best riding weather
in the mornings for awhile here in New Jersey. I am very pleased about the
bike; one of the best investments ever made. By being picky about the
riding days I've gotten 2500 miles on the bike now, with MANY more to come.
I will get the side bags at the end of the month, then I can start looking
at going on more than one day trips.
I already have a question too.....
I've searched the archives after seeing the recent discussion about the
ScottOiler and noticed that everyone cut into No.3 vacuum line. I found a
site, www.actionstation.com/trouble.html , that mentions tapping into a
"balance tube", while not an actual tube it seems more like a port on one of
the throttle bodies somewhere. Does anyone know of this connection? I'll
be installing my touring kit soon and if this tube is easy to grab I may go
there instead.

OK, now that the Rallye information has been posted we would like for
everyone with a new ST to get it broken in and join us at the Rallye.
Gregg did just that last year and I think he enjoyed himself.
For those of us with bikes over a year old now just dust 'em off and
come on. I hope that everyone who attended last year is able to make it
again. We'll meet many new friends with the same passion for our beloved
ST's and wonderful roads.
I meet and made friends last year that I only knew from e-mails. I'm
now able to put a face with the messages to the list and it gives a
whole new meaning to the digest daily.
We had a great time. We'll have a great time again this August. Be
there! As the Three Wise Men sang it "We're Nation Wide"! And, World
Wide.
