Yes, there are two plugs that need to be undone to remove the
tank - The power connector for the fuel pump and the level sender
for the fuel gauge. Removing those plugs *plus* both the pressure
and airflow sensors from the airbox has no effect on the fuel
injection system unless you forget to plug them back in. Should
you do that, the 'check engine' light will go on and stay on for
three starts after you smack your head and plug in the plug.
