You too? Isn't it great?  :-)

I frequently find myself riding around side streets in 1st or 2nd, and
in 4th on faster roads.

On a recent ride I was behind a slow moving (45 in a 55 zone) cage. 
When I finally got to a passing zone I gave it some good throttle, then
realized I'd hit the rev limiter ... in 3rd (triple digits indicated).

The amazing thing isn't how fast I ended up going (fun though) but that
the bike felt perfectly comfortable riding along at 45 in 3rd.

I'm sure I'd get better gas economy if I would remember to use those
upper gears, but the only times I ever see 6th is the very occasional
long, straight highway cruise.
