    I've managed nearly 60 mpg (imperial gallons; about 21 km/l).  But
it was boring beyond belief.

    Recently I thought that my fuel consumption was increasing (high
30s mpg), but I've only been doing town mileage for far too long now.
At the weekend I did a long enough trip to tell that I'm still getting
high 40s mpg in normal use.

    And high 20s on the track :-)
