well, folks, all you out there with ventura rack systems step right up and 
voice your opinion.  i am definitely leaning toward them as a substitute for 
hard bags.  any more info would be greatly appreciated.  i was going to buy 
the bags so my wife would tour more with me but i think she wants her own 
bike.  the other day i ran the guzzi out of gas( new petcocks marked in 
italian) and i caught a ride witha guy on a k1200rs.  after that ride i can 
see why she wants her own bike.
