RE: Helmet question

Paul I agree the Shoei are quieter. As for comfort?? forgetaboutit. I
can wear my Arai ALL day and never a problem. I suspect that you have
an Arai SIGNET shaped head and not a Quantum head. FWIW Arai has two
distinct helmet shapes the Signet is a long oval
(more like a Shoei) the Quantum/f and RX-7RR4 are more a round oval.
Anyone considering the purchase of an Arai MUST try on both, they fit
very differently. That said the newest Shoei X-Tec and XSP-II are
much more comfortable (new shell shape according to the Shoei rep I
spoke with) for me than the older RF-800 and the original XSP. Bottom
line is TRY before you buy.
