Re: brake lever excessive travel



One thing that I have noticed is that the tube between the reservoir and the master cyl. is positioned in such a way that if the fluid level in the reservoir was on the low side, a possibility of an air bubble entering the tube exists while leaned over to the left side.  When the bike is leveled, an air bubble could get entrapped in the tube "loop"... then you start pumping the brakes.... maybe..... just a thought.  I have noticed that they mount the reservoir differently on the 2,000's than they do on the 1999's.
