Re: brake lever excessive travel



Jim,
I'm not sure of the material, but it may not be a bad idea to have the shop
rebuild and clean the brakes each year. This restored my BMW K1200RS brakes
to new after months of battling over poor brake performance (lever feel, not
grab).

Perhaps the additional several hours labor would be well worth it. In any
event, simply understanding the problem and knowing that its not some wierd
deadly defect waiting to ultimately fail is half the battle.
