Keith,

I made the mistake of using the added friction ring(oh, what a setup, quit
that sniggering out there!)  Don't use it, the existing throttle tube works
fine.  The problem I have had is when the grips are heating they expand just
enough to push the ring out alittle, which changes the spacing and the
throttle action tightens up.
