Re: Character

Unlike Jim, I shall have to pass on the offer of crow pie.

My 'RS is still off the road. The required part has been
ordered but will not get here until the end of next week at
the earliest.

I am rather disappointed with CalBMWTriumph's inability to
get me back on the road sooner. They have no loaner bikes
and will not temporarily borrow the part from a show floor
bike. Apparently all the bikes on the showfloor are spoken
for.

Despite my forceful but polite requests Kari has been unable
to do anything except tell me to call ToA.

I spoke to Jerry at ToA who was courteous but could do nothing
more than tell me the part had been ordered. I was impressed
that he had my email address. He read my original post to this
list and got my address from there.

Of course I've had bikes breakdown on me before but it is
especially upsetting when the bike is just a few weeks old
and only has 700 miles on it.

So there we have it, Summer has finally arrived in California
and my bike is in the shop for at least another week.

Cheers,
KEv
