Accessory Plug.

Hello fellow ST'ers,

Anybody out there had any experience with the Sprint ST accessory plug =
adapter?  I ordered one from my dealer but when it arrived it wasn't =
what I was expecting.  I was expecting an adapter that would plug in the =
existing accessory socket that would allow me to plug in a standard US =
cigarette lighter style plug.  What I got was a plug that inserted into =
the existing socket with a wire and a two prong plug on the end of that. =
 I'm looking to plug in stuff like a radar detector, cell phone, =
blender, etc.  Any information is appreciated.
