Intercom

It was good to read Bill's experience with the ChatterBox intercom system
during recent posts and how it improved their riding experience.

Since his posts I decided to purchase an Autocom Eurocom system to allow my
good lady and myself to nag each other during our trip to France later in
the week. The system is full duplex with auto volume reduction should we be
listening to the CD player. The CD mounted in a tank bag currently jumps a
lot so I have to try a new location or put some packing around it, but as
my wife says 'Instead of listening to music shouldn't you be concentrating
on the road' so we may leave the CD at home.

My wife is sometimes a nervous passenger due to a big accident years ago
(prior to myself being on the scene I hasten to add) finds the ability to
give instructions or requests quite refreshing should for any reason her
bottle go, this usually only happens on corners as this is how her crash
happened.

So the purchase of an intercom has opened up a new dimension in our riding
which I hope will also increase the pleasure we both get from this great
machine.

As I've wired it up to the lighting circuit if she nags too much I turn can
turn the lights off and peace returns;-)

Looking forward to my first big venture on 'Longtail' since it's purchase.
