Yikes! It's contagious.

I live in a communal household in San Francisco with four other adults.
Everybody has a motorcycle license, and we have five bikes among the
five of us-- two of them mine, one person doesn't have one. (Sounds
like a math problem, eh?)

In January, I dropped my EX500 on a wet railroad track in San Francisco.
It was low-speed, and the only damage was that I cracked the throttle
housing assembly.

About a month ago, Debbie's EX250 got knocked over in a parking lot
and sustained some damage; it's been in the shop for a couple of weeks
now.

About three weeks ago, I dropped Booh on a wet road marking. $900 in
damage.

Three days after that, Charles was riding his R1100RS on a week-long
trip, was coming through the Rockies, and hit a patch of black ice in
some snow. I haven't seen it, but I understand there's damage on both
sides of the bike.

Yesterday Stef dumped is RF900 in San Francisco (first time in 27
years of riding), when a pedestrian walked out in front of him, and
he hit a patch of oil as he touched the brake. The bike isn't too
bad, but Stef has a broken collarbone.

I think it must be something in the water.

P.S. I'm picking Booh up from CalBMW tomorrow, with the fuel sender
fixed but the body work not done. I decided I couldn't stomach being
without him this weekend.
