Darren, I have no problems at all when running high beams, 'lectric vest,
and heated grips--all as high as they'll go!! I think the tall 1st gear is
the only thing I don't like on the bike. But I'm really not complaining.

<Hello all,

Joanna, welcome. I went from an 84 Nighthawk S to the 01 Sprint.
Surprisingly, the old Honda had a more comfortable seating position for me
but I think that I can make the ST better with Genmar risers. I took the NH
on an almost 4000 mile ride to Colorado this summer--that included two days
of 1000+ (Ironbutt) miles. Then I said goodbye and never looked back. I've
had the ST about 8 weeks and have over 5000 miles (a trip to Arizona took
care of some of that). What a great bike and it can really move out! I've
had zero problems so far.
