I just did a 42K service on my bike: Replaced fork and engine oil,
re-packed the wheel bearings, check and adjust the controls, replaced
the air filter, had the throttle bodies balanced and so on. Cost:
$110.00 for the throttle bodies + filter, about 5 hours of my time and
$30.00 in materials for the rest. That's what I call reasonable.
