Hi Phil,
The performance tune should work just fine. In the longer term - I don't
think it's fully developed yet - you may wish to investigate
http://www.hutch.com.au/~wmcdonal/TuneBoy/TuneBoy.htm - could be right up
your alley!

Running too lean has the potential to do engine damage due to higher
combustion temperatures (and maybe detonation). Unlikely but possible.
Pretty much the worst that can happen running rich is it may run a little
crappy, may even foul the plugs. I'd load the tune first.
