Re: oil and gas



Paul: Triumph uses a special break in oil.. the dealer is SUPPOSED to 
put that in before delivery. At the 500 mile service it is then 
switched over to normal oil. Triumph of course recommends their Mobil 
1. Personally I don't like going 6000 miles between oil changes as 
Triumph recommends in the owners manual. I change mine ever 2-2500 
and use Motul 5100 15-50 wt.

As for gas use Premium. The bike will ping on regular. If you want to 
save a buck a tank use mid grade. I use premium that way I know it's 
getting enough octane.
