Re: some questions from a relative novice...

Hello Justin...

There are a lot of differing opinions on the subject of bikes for
new or nearly new riders. I'm of the opinion that the right bike
is the one you feel comfortable and confident on. I started on
a Suzuki GS500 and within 3-4 months I moved up to a VFR750.
Within another 6 months I ended up getting a Ducati M900 which I
took on the track. Then I changed to a 900SS/SP. (What can I say...
I'm indecisive. :-) ) I've never felt uncomfortable with any of
them and I always respected the throttle and my inexperience.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is you can get into trouble
with just about any bike. If you keep your head screwed on right,
don't play racer boy, and respect the power that you have access
to, you should be fine. At least that's my opinion. :-)
